Full day workshop. Learn what happens to us when we pass over and how to receive messages from spirits on the other side. Learn the differences between spirit guides, spirits of loved ones, angels and ghosts. Gail will conduct a hands-on workshop with exercises that will put you in touch with the spirit world and bring your loved ones through. She will teach you how to use your spirit guides to help you connect and enhance your clairvoyant abilities. Great for psychics wanting to enhance their skills as a medium or people who just want to be able to connect to their loved ones or get a message from them. How I Started To Connect With Spirit
It was at a workshop similar to the one that I now teach that I first discovered I could really talk with spirits on the other-side. I attended a weekend on Medium ship with British psychic medium, Francesca Kimpton, who truly is one of the most amazing mediums you will ever meet. Actually I was really there because I had lost a friends recently and was hoping I would be getting readings from Francesca and others in the group that might give me some answers. It was completely not what I was expecting and that weekend changed my life.

We started with an exercise to connect ourselves with a spirit and then each got up and described the spirit they had connected to. As I listened to others, I thought, “oh, no I’ve done this wrong. I thought we had to make up a complete imaginary story about someone.”, I told Francesca. “Just go for it.” She said. I pointed to a specific person in the group and said “mine is for you, he’s your Grand Pierre Marceau” and continued to tell my imaginary story of his life and message. I paused for a moment to see if anything I said was recognized. The person I’d pick out was jaw open, speechless; “That’s his name, that’s his life, that’s everything” he said. At which point I about freaked myself out. I was in complete disbelief, how could I have made that up? The whole weekend turned out to be an amazing revelation for me. I went home and it was as if they had been patently waiting outside the door, once that door was opened, they flooded in excitedly screeching, we’ve got one that can hear us! The next dilemma was how to create and on-off switch so I could actually sleep at night.

For some, it is like me, an awakening of what is already there. For others it is a gradual deepening of the psychic sensors and for most it is learning to remove the blocks that prevent us from accepting this.

Spirit Guide And Angels
We are all provided with a main spirit guide that is assigned to us at birth and communicates with us daily whether we acknowledge them or not. Other guides aid us and may come and go depending on our life lessons. These guides have usually incarnated on the earth before and have experienced human emotions and are all highly evolved spiritual energies. We are also provided with a Guardian Angel who protects us through out our life and who may call on other angels for our protection. Angels have not incarnated as humans and deal with more life encompassing situations and not so much on a day to day level. They only intervene in emergencies unless you specifically call on them for help. It is our main spirit guide or communicating spirit guide that aids us in connecting with loved ones on the other-side. Our spirit guide acts as our gate keeper and spirit organizer, allowing spirits to communicate directly with us but aiding where needed.

Ghosts And Spirits
When people pass over they ascend to the white light and remain in this area of bliss we call Heaven. When we connect to them in spirit we are asking them to bring their energies into our aura but they remain in the area of the white light. Ghosts are rare but they are people that have passed over and have not yet gone to the white light and remain as murky, grey, and confused energies that occupy the earth plane. For some reason they are scared or cling to their psychical life and do not want to pass completely yet. In spirit communication we are communicating only with energies that have passed to the white light and only guided by our Spirit guides and protected by our angels. And don’t worry all your loved ones in spirit will have passed through to the white light. If you had asked me just a few year ago about being a medium, the whole thought of connecting with ‘ghosts’ would have terrified me. It is not like this at all, there is nothing scary about connecting with the other-side. In fact it is a most comforting wonderful feeling.

The Language Of Communication
Just as in life, people tend to be either more visual, more audible or more sentinel and relate to situations and learn better when using their more emphasized sensors. In the same way people are more clairvoyant ( see visions) or more clairaudient (hear messages) or more clairsentient (feel things, or know things) in their communication with spirit. In the workshops we work on developing each of these skills and I have developed a language of visual symbols to aid the most common sense which is Clairvoyance.

Connecting With Your Own Loved Ones
Although the skills you learn as a medium will enable you to connect to your own loved ones, you must first learn to connect with loved ones of others. This is because it is only through validation by others that you will have the confidence that your skills are real. Connecting to our own loved ones can often feel like your imagination, once you have the confidence to know you are receiving messages that you couldn’t possibly have know, you will start to feel the subtle differences between communication in spirit and your own thoughts and hopes. I have found that this work, through experiencing it for yourself firsthand, brings tremendous comfort and confidence in the afterlife as well as a closeness with your loved ones in spirit and an understanding of the process of life itself.
